The World's Largest Fine Art Show, Artexpo New York, Returns to Pier 94 April 23-26 for a 4-Day Art Experience Featuring Unveilings, Parties, Seminars and Awards

New York City, (April 14, 2015) – Redwood Media Group, a leading producer of international fine art shows and magazines, today announced the return of Artexpo New York to Pier 94, located at 711 12th Ave., New York, NY, from Thursday, April 23 to Sunday, April 26. For the second consecutive year, Artexpo includes three shows under one roof: Artexpo New York, the world’s largest fine art trade show; [SOLO], highlighting new and emerging artists; and DECOR Expo Showcase, a trade-only show featuring the latest art and framing industry trends. This year’s show serves as host to more than 400 exhibitors, including innovative artists, galleries and publishers from around the globe, showcasing original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works and more.
   
Redwood Media Group, parent company of Artexpo New York, is globally recognized for producing juried, high-end shows that attract an extensive network of trade buyers, collectors and industry insiders. As such, this year’s show offers an expanded collection of international art, including works from India, Europe, Australia, Africa, Russia, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, and beyond. Attendees will also experience one of Artexpo New York’s largest international exhibitions from China, in association with American Hairong Cultural Company, featuring painting, photography, sculpture and more.
 
The show also features a VIP Opening Preview Party that takes place from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, and includes light hors d’oeuvres; complimentary Emory Vodka and D'USSÉ cognac cocktails; wine and music courtesy of ArtForo magazine; free snacks from KIND Snacks and Vita Coco; and the unveiling of the 2015 “Passageways” Poster Challenge winner, Without Hesitation by Joëlle Blouin.

  • Media Meet and Greet – 5–7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, media has access to conduct interviews and meet artists, gallery owners and show organizers in the International Lounge during the VIP Opening Preview Party. 

  • Friday Night at Artexpo – 5–7 p.m. Friday, April 23, mingle with artists and gallery owners while enjoying complimentary cocktails from Emory Vodka and D'USSÉ cognac and wine tasting courtesy of ArtForo magazine in Lounge 94, the Artexpo Lounge and the [SOLO] Lounge.

  • [Synergy] Live Art Events – Art students from New Jersey-based schools, Morris Hills High School and Woodcliff Middle School, partner with exhibiting artists to create large, original artwork murals onsite. The works created by the student groups and their respective artist “mentors” on Friday and Saturday will remain on display adjacent to the Education Pavilion for the duration of the show.

  • Trends & Topics Education Series – provides complimentary seminars to exhibitors and attendees on a variety of art topics, such as: art marketing, social media, business strategies, design, and more (complete curriculum available online).

  • Exhibition and LIVE photo shoot during Opening Preview Party by Jordan Matter, photographer and New York Times bestselling author of “Dancers Among Us.”

  • Unveiling of 2015 Artexpo New York Poster Challenge winner at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 23.

  • Meet the Artist events, including artist unveilings, painting demonstrations and performance art.

  • A range of national and international artists and galleries represented.

• General Admission – $20.00 each. Valid for one admission Thursday-Sunday.
• Senior Admission (ages 60+) – $15.00 each. Valid for one admission Thursday-Sunday.
• Student Admission (ages 13-17) – $15.00 each. Valid for one admission Thursday-Sunday.
• Children aged 12 and under – free. For groups of more than 12, a group rate of $15 is available.
