Cider & Mead Festival comes to Pinellas County, Florida, January 31st



Pinellas Park, Florida, January 15, 2015 ( - Cajun Cafe on the Bayou is known for producing some of the best beer festivals in Florida.  This year, Cajun Cafe on the Bayou is adding a new beer festival to their roster, with the addition of the Cider & Mead Festival on January 31, 2015, from 2-6pm.
Cider is a fermented alcoholic beverage typically made from apples, but new craft ciders are using many other fruits as well. The alcohol content in cider can range from 1.2% ABV to 12%. 
Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey and water.  The alcohol content in mead can range from 8% ABV-20%.
Close to 100 different Ciders & Meads will be available to taste.  Ticket sales are limited to 400, so lines are minimal.  Food is included in the price and available throughout the festival.
The festival is located on the grounds of Cajun Cafe on the Bayou, at the rear of the property under a large pavilion (8101 Park Blvd, Pinellas Park, FL).  It is a beautiful setting on Cross Bayou, with a beer-garden atmosphere and is 90% under cover.  
A Dunedin Doggie Rescue fundraiser will be hosted at the event.
Pre-Sale tickets are available now at for $55.00. Admission at the gate, on the day of the event, will be $70.00.  Admission for designated drivers is $15.00 at the gate on the day of the event.
No one under 21 will be admitted.
