Folk-to-Fine Arts Festival Returns to Showcase the Regions Finest Artists and Craftspeople, Commerce, Georgia

 

 

Commerce, Georgia (January 14, 2014) - The Third Annual Folk-to-Fine Arts Festival brings remarkable one-of-a kind folk and fine artists to Historic Downtown Commerce Georgia, March 7 to 9, 2014. Commerce Main Street / Downtown Development Authority will host the event at the Commerce Civic Center. 

 

Each year the festival continues to captivate visitors with over 60 fine & folk artists offering various types and forms of folk and fine art, including oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, sculpture, photography, pottery, jewelry, decorative fiber works, metal works, paper, stone and so much more.
 
 The festival opens at 5 PM on Friday, March 7 with a Meet the Artist Reception from 6 PM – 9 PM, where visitors enjoy mingling with the artists who share their creative passion while enjoying complementary drinks, Hors D Oeuvres and entertainment. Friday festival hours are 5 PM until 10 PM; admission is $15 and includes the Meet the Artist Reception and weekend readmission.
 
Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9 the festival is open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  Admission is only $7 per person with children 10 and under free.
 
Saturday and Sunday, in addition to the exceptional art, is highlighted with a variety of demonstrations and art classes offered by participating artists and craftsman for both adults and children.
