The Northern California Festival is a celebration of everything community and more.

 

The Festival has selected 501c3 Performing Stars of Marin as the beneficiary. A portion of ticket proceeds help support their music program and “Zydeco for Kids,” music project in Marin County. The program combines traditional and newly composed music, exploring the Creole culture and the music of Southwest Louisiana.

San Rafael, California, July 18, 2016 - The Creole United Festival celebrates it’s 4th year in Marin County, a rhythmic magnet attracting all generations from throughout the U.S. and abroad. The festival is held Saturday, October 1, 2016, 11am-6pm at Lagoon Park in San Rafael, CA (located close to San Francisco).
 
General Admission Lawn Seats are $20 advance, $25 door, $8 youth (6-12), under 6 free.

GRAMMY Nominated, Andre Thierry brings high energy and captivating entertainment  with special guest bands from Louisiana and Texas.  Fun for all ages, arts & crafts, kidzone, wood dance floor, food vendors selling a variety of authentic Louisiana flavors, Creole cuisines combined with a blend of California favorites and libations.  
 
VIP Reserved Table area: This exclusive area allows  guests to  enjoy the Festival in relaxed seating (side stage), with a panoramic view of Festival.  The FENIX, Executive Chef Glenn “Gator” Thompson, will feature the “Taste of Creole.” VIP guests can enjoy Turtle Soup, Crawfish Étouffée, Shrimp, Andouille and Chicken Gumbo, New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp, Mixed Greens.
 


 

Festival attendees will find purveyors selling California and Louisiana favorites; gumbos, jambalaya, boudin, red beans & rice, po’boys, a variety of BBQ and seafoods such as fried fish, oysters, shrimp.  There will also be southern desserts, Abita beers, chilled California wines, beverages and more.

Visitors can travel to The Creole United Festival by car, bicycle, ferry or bus. Parking is conveniently located.
