Partners Railroad Earth and Deadhead Productions Announce 2017 Hillberry Music Festival, Eureka Springs, AR

Eureka Springs, Arkansas, March 29, 2017 - Deadhead Productions and Railroad Earth are continuing their partnership and announcing this year's edition of their Hillberry Music Festival. The event will take place across four days  from October 12th- 15th, 2017 at the Deadhead Productions home, The Farm, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The venue, which opened in 2015, has continued to grow, recently adding mountain bike trails to the list of amenities available to festival goers.

Carrying on the tradition of top notch live acts, this years lineup includes some very established names including two nights of Railroad Earth, and performances by Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, Dumpstaphunk and more to be announced.

Deadhead Productions (DHP) and Railroad Earth (RRE) brought a very unique fall festival experience with 2016's edition of Hillberry. This year's festival will continue the DHP tradition of the crowd being as much a part of the experience as the music. With more permanent and temporary  art installations, artists, workshops and activities on the farm, there will be plenty to do and see as well as interact with.

Visitors can see the beautiful shrine in memorial of Jerry Garcia built by local artist 'Ralph Shrine' and his team. Leave a memento, have a quiet moment to yourself, or catch the incredible sunrises and sunsets.

This year's festivities will kick off Thursday October 12th and continuing through the weekend. Each day begins with musical performances in the early afternoon as well as workshops and other activities. Music will continue on the main stage until  around 2am each night followed by a very special set at the shrine stage. With the roaring communal campfire and the talented folks attending the festival, expect to stumble across campfire jams and impromptu fun.

Along side the music there's a host of workshops focused on yoga, art, music and sustainability.  More information on the activities and schedules can be found at www.hillberryfestival.com or follow the Hillberry: Harvest Moon Festival event page on Facebook.

The panoramic views of the Ozark and Mark Twain National Forests surrounding the venue provide one of the best places to see the changing fall leaves. On the 160 acre venue there are multiple areas for camping, including RV (no power/hook-ups or otherwise) and Main stage camping very close to the action of the vendors and the stage. A more primitive and quiet shaded area that is drop off only is also available. Perfect for those who like to be further away, or for hammock campers looking to ditch the tent.

Festi-Cab will be on site to get you around if you're not feeling the walk. An onsite general store stocks everything from prepackaged food, non-alcoholic beverages, ice, and last minute camping supplies.
