Eureka Springs, Arkansas, February 27, 2017 - Deadhead Productions has just announced the full lineup for their first festival of the year, Phunkberry Music Festival. After taking a year off from the event in 2016 in order to further develop the infrastructure of their venue, The Farm, the 3 day event will return in a blaze of glory with some of the funkiest acts touring today taking to the stage.

Phunkberry is set to take place May 4-6, 2017 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas (The Farm, 1 Blue Heron Lane, Eureka Springs, AR, 72631) at their venue that opened its gates in May of 2015 when the festival made its debut. This will be the 6th event Deadhead Productions will have hosted at The Farm since its opening and is sure to satiate the desires of those who crave the funk.

Admission is $55 - $120 (1 day, 2 day, and 3 day passes available). www.phunkberry.com

Headliners include the like of The Motet and The Werks  in addition to Manic Focus, the funk powerhouse known as Kung Fu, along with Sons of F.U.N.K (a Parliament Funkadelic alumni reunion) and several artists at large. With supporting acts including the like of Juno What (featuring members of The Motet), the dance party that is Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band making their return, Heartbyrne (Talking Heads tribute with members of A Live One), and the Asheville, NC based band The Fritz, the boogie is strong with this one.

With an attendance cap of 3,500 people, the setting is one where concert goers will have the opportunity to get to know their neighbors, the community, and perhaps even encounter some of their favorite artists walking the grounds exploring. In addition to first class musical talent and stage production, attendees can look forward to more temporary and permanent art installations, workshops, daytime activities, along with new environmental elements that contribute
beyond the music. The event offers a wide spectrum of activities and workshops for children and adults alike, ranging from tie-dye workshops, yoga, and hula hooping, to rock balancing and more.

The Farm itself is a sight to behold. Boasting 360° panoramic views in the hills of the Ozarks, The Farm is the perfect setting for a spring concert. The 150 acre property features recently expanded camping in diverse terrain, including a reserved RV camping area (no hook-ups, electrical or otherwise), mainstage camping area, an ADA camping area, a hillside camping area with spectacular views of the entire venue, a family camping area, and a wooded camping area that is drop off only (no car camping). This is perfect for the hammock camper or anyone wanting more isolated camping without a long trek to get to the stage area. There will also be a Festi-Cab service to cart attendees around who look to conserve their steps for the boogie.

A general store is onsite and offers an array of necessities including food, non-alcoholic beverages, ice, and camping supplies. A multitude of food vendors will have offerings to appeal to any taste and diet. There will also be beverage vendors offering organic juices and a café serving coffee. Attendees can also find an assortment of unique arts, crafts, and official merchandise to take home as mementos from other vendors who populate “Shakedown Street.”

No visit to The Farm is complete without a brief hike to the top of the venue to a shrine constructed in memory of the late Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead. A Eureka Springs based artist, known as ‘Ralph Shrine,’ and his team built the “Jerry Shrine” to commemorate one of the most inspiring musical artists of the 20th century. Visitors are encouraged to leave something at the Jerry Shrine as it is a living work of art, continually changing over time.
