Phunkberry Music Festival to Take Place in Eureka Springs, Arkansas


Eureka Springs, Arkansas, January 13, 2015 ( - Eureka Springs has got the funk! Deadhead Productions has announced they will bring the Phunkberry Music Festival to the area. The music, arts, and camping festival will take place May 7 to May 10th, 2015. The event will feature some top national funk acts like Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, The Bernie Worrell Orchestra (former keyboardist from the Talking Heads), Kung Fu, and Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band to name a few. Phunkberry will also showcase some of the best regional funk acts in the area such as Freeverse, the 1 Oz. Jig, Groovement, GUTA, Isayah's All-Stars, Friends of the Phamily, Flatland Funk Donors and TOTOJOJO.


Event attendees can expect to experience many arts & crafts vendors and as well as live artist experiences. There will be hands on workshops as well. This will be the first event to take place at the new venue called "The Farm." The Farm is nestled in the hills of the Ozarks. It sits on 160 acres that backs up to Mark Twain National Forest. The address is 1 Blue Heron Lane, Eureka Springs, Arkansas.


Admission: $75 - 3 day pass - $60 - 2 day pass $40 - 1 day pass


Onsite camping will be allowed for the entire event. There is general store and shower/bathroom house. Electricity will be available for merchandise vendors. Table Rock Lake, Beaver Lake, and the White River are all within 5 miles of this location, The Farm sits about 9 miles outside of historic Victorian town of Eureka Springs Arkansas .
