Rocky Mount, North Carolina, August 4, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - For 30 years, 1964 The Tribute has put on an exciting show that Rolling Stone Magazine calls the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.” 1964 The Tribute will be performing at the Dunn Center of Performing Arts, 3400 N. Wesleyan Blvd. Rocky Mount, NC, on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $27.00. This year, the rock group has a brand new show commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1964 Beatles Tour.

This talented group of musicians create a thrilling atmosphere like that of a live 1960s Beatles concert. They replicate a crucial moment in musical history with their songs, clothing, instruments, and even haircuts. In addition to their musical styles, they have adopted some of the same traits and mannerisms as the original band members. Their goal is to authentically portray the Beatles as they were in their touring years.

Formed in 1984, this musical ensemble has performed almost 3000 shows throughout the globe. They have been featured at all types of events, including fairs, festivals, college campus functions, and corporate conventions. Their set list includes mostly early Beatles music and some middle Beatles music as well.

1964 The Tribute has received awards and honors for their outstanding performances that reproduce the beloved rock band’s style. Campus Activities Today Magazine called them “Best Contemporary Act” as well as “Best Concert Art.” Television and radio stations have featured the group in various programs throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
