FlightSimCon is North America’s largest annual flight simulation and aviation conference. The event was created in 2013 to bring flight simulation enthusiasts and real world aviators together. The conference aims to increase the role of desktop and online flight simulation in fight training.

 

 

Windsor Locks, Connecticut, April 7, 2017 - FlightSimCon 2017, North America’s largest annual aviation and flight simulation conference, will hold the fifth edition of the conference on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 & 11, in Windsor Locks at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley International Airport, just outside Hartford, Connecticut. www.flightsimcon.com

 

Admission is $25 - $60 one day or all weekend, standard and student registrations.
 
FlightSimCon is North America’s largest annual flight simulation and aviation conference. The event was created in 2013 to bring flight simulation enthusiasts and real world aviators (of all ages) together. The conference aims to increase the role of desktop and online flight simulation in fight training. Each year, the conference offers attendees from many different backgrounds—aviation enthusiasts, aviation professionals, air traffic controllers, students looking to  pursue careers in aviation, and current and retired members of the military —the opportunity to connect in an interactive, social setting.
 
In 2016, the event welcomed over 520 attendees from over 40 U.S. States, across Europe, and many other countries including Australia, Canada, China, Japan, and more, alongside 50 sponsors and exhibitors. To learn more about and register for FlightSimCon 2017, visit

There are now over 30 confirmed exhibitors for the conference. Exhibitors will have a variety of hands-on demonstrations for attendees to try and will be showing off a large selection of hardware and software products. There will also be over a dozen engaging speakers and seminars on topics ranging from how to make your own DIY home cockpit to turning aviation from a hobby into a career.
 
Speakers include current and former airline pilots, military personnel, flight simulation developers, and others from across the aviation and flight simulation world.
 
The conference includes door prizes and giveaways.  There will be a complimentary social event on Saturday night, sponsored by Private Jet Class Sponsor Orbx Simulation Systems.
 
Attendees flying commercially should fly to Bradley International Airport (BDL), served by all major airlines. A direct trans-Atlantic flight is available through Dublin via Aer Lingus.
 
The Sheraton Hotel at Bradley Airport is located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. For participants driving to the event, it is located approximately 3 hours from New York or 2 hours from Boston. Complimentary parking will be offered for all conference attendees
