Fox Valley Orchestra performs Espana!, March 7-8, Batavia and Aurora, IL



Aurora, Illinois, March 2, 2015 ( - The Fox Valley Orchestra is honored to feature renowned guitarist Steve Suvada on an exciting Spanish-themed program called “Espana!”  Included selections are Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture, Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra, Chabrier’s Espana, De Falla’s Danza Espanola, and Bizet’s Carmen Suite. Lead by Music Director Colin Holman, the concerts are Saturday March 7 at 7:30pm in Batavia Fine Arts Centre (1201 Main Street, Batavia, IL, and Sunday March 8 at 3:00pm in Crimi Auditorium at Aurora University (407 S Calumet Ave, Aurora, IL).
