Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow, a Native American Event in Columbia City, IN

 

Columbia City, Indiana, June 21, 2016 - The 21st Annual Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow will be held August 12 to 14, 2016 at 1035 E. 205, Columbia City, IN 46725 10am to 9pm. Admission is 4.00, children under 12 free.

 

Mihsihkinaahkwa Pow Wow is a traditional Native American event.  There will be 32 vendors with Native American art, crafts, food and products.  Native American singing and dancing, dance times are Sat. 1-4 and 6 to 9 pm.  Sunday dancing is at noon. Soarin' Hawk Raptors will visit at 6pm on Fri. and 10 to 12 on Sat. Free concert 8/12 . Gates open at 5 pm, concert starts at 7pm with Adam and Mike playing guitar and singing.  Saturday there is a Silent Auction from 10am to 7 pm.  Raffles, vendors are open all day.

 

Bus trips are available to Historical Miami sites in Whitley County on Sunday. Scholarship auction will be held at 10:30 am.  All proceeds go to the scholarship fund.  Childern's Day from 11am to 4pm. Crafts, stories and games. Dancing at noon. Lacrosse game in the am.  Close at 5pm.  Free Parking, handicap park.
