Cabin Fever Festival Has New Home In Duluth, Minnesota,  March 21-23, 2014

Rebecca Frazier and her band Hit & Run will headline the Cabin Fever Festival in Duluth

Duluth , Minnesota (February 21, 2014) - The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association (MBOTMA) will once again host its Cabin Fever Festival in Duluth on Friday through Sunday March 21-23, but 2014 will find the event at the Inn On Lake Superior. The weekend long acoustic music festival moved to the Inn On Lake Superior in 2013 when a water main break forced the originally planned venue to close down a week before the festival.

This year Cabin Fever will feature flatpicking phenom Rebecca Frazier and her band Hit & Run from Nashville, plus a dozen other groups from various parts of Minnesota. Other featured groups include The Platte Valley Boys, The Fish Heads, Big Juke, Thirsty River, Singleton Street, Timbre Junction, The Seldom Herd, Sloughgrass, The Biscuit Boys, and Sawtooth Bluegrass. There will also be workshops, a draw band competition, and of course plenty of impromptu jam sessions throughout the weekend.

Show times are Friday 7-11pm, Saturday 10am-11pm, and Sunday 10am-12pm. The entire schedule of events and ticket information can be found online at
www.MinnesotaBluegrass.org or by calling 800-635-3037. For lodging call Inn On Lake Superior at 888-668-4352 and ask for the Bluegrass Festival rate. The Cabin Fever Festival is produced by the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association and made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
