Vietnam Memorial Wall Changing at the National Vietnam War
Museum, Weatherford, TX
Following the outdoor ceremonies, the Visitor Center will be
open so that guests can view the museum’s featured exhibit, a photo
retrospective of the Kent State Shooting that occurred on May 4, 1970.

(McKenzieNewsService.com) - On June 6, The
National Vietnam War Museum
will host the 6th annual update of its replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The gates will open at 8:00 a.m. with the ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. They
will be honoring the thirteen US Army veterans whose names were added to the
wall in Washington, D.C. last year, as well as a special welcome home to three
recovered US Air Force MIAs. The guest speaker will be LTG Dan Petrosky
(USA Ret.). Also in attendance will be members of the Patriot Guard motorcycle
unit and a color guard from Denton VVA Post 920, and “Lil Sis” Monica Harvey
will sing the National Anthem and “Welcome Home.”

can view the museum’s featured exhibit, a photo retrospective of the Kent State
Shooting that occurred on May 4, 1970. The exhibit is the work of Vietnam
veteran Charles Thompson and will be on display in the Visitor Center until
