Gilford, New Hampshire, May 23, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - Celebrating 17 years of music, love and action, the annual SoulFest will be held August 7th - 9th in the picturesque White Mountains in Gilford, New Hampshire, at Gunstock Mountain Resort, 719 Cherry Valley Rd. 

 

Gunstock provides an idyllic setting for this one-of-a-kind celebration of over 13,000 attendees and more than 100 artists and speakers.  As New Englandís largest Christian music festival, SoulFest has become a summer staple to numerous families throughout the New England area. This three-day event features world-renowned and Grammy winning Christian artists representing all musical genres on four separate stages, guest speakers and authors from across the globe. Other notable findings at the festival include film showings, art installations, a Hunger Banquet hosted by Oxfam, in addition to a zip-line, rock climbing, mountain biking, a skate park, hiking, and lots of great food.
 
This year boasts an impressive lineup featuring numerous Grammy winning artists and some of the biggest acts in Christian music including TobyMac, Switchfoot, Third Day, Creedís Scott Stapp, Crowder, Mandisa, Kari Jobe, Natalie Grant, Thousand Foot Krutch, Britt Nicole, Propaganda, Five Iron Frenzy, Trip Lee and a slew of many others.
 
SoulFest will feature New York Times Bestselling Author, Donald Miller, author of Blue Like Jazz, who will host a session as a part of the festivalís workshop and conversation series. Music, Love, and Action have always been central to the SoulFest since itís inception in 1998. This motto provides inspiration for the workshops and conversations. This, along with 2014ís festival theme, ďTrue Love is Unconditional,Ē will provide a framework for over twenty regional and international speakers addressing topics such as arts and modern culture, community leader training and social justice issues.
