Learn and Perform with the Best at Drayton Harbor Music Camp - July 5 to 11, Blaine, WA



Blaine, Washington, May 5, 2015 ( - Registration is now open for the 2015 Drayton Harbor Music Festival Camp, July 5 to 11. World-class musicians will come together in scenic Blaine, WA to perform and teach students aged 12 to 19. This unique music camp challenges and inspires students to reach their musical potential – offering group and individual training in jazz, vocal, classical to contemporary, song writing and more.
The Drayton Harbor Music Festival Camp welcomes students with experience in all musical styles and instruments. Students who attend this music camp experience an intense week of instruction from renowned faculty. They also perform with these professional musicians during festival week.
The music camp provides a fun and positive educational experience for young artists. Students experience remarkable progress in one week. According to a past student, “The camp was more fun day by day because I’ve been learning and playing and sounding better at my instrument.” Another student said, “My progress was HUGE! At the beginning of the week I had no experience with jazz improv or jazz songs, but now my overall performance has improved.”
Camp tuition is $350 for one week.

About the Drayton Harbor Music Festival
The 14th annual Drayton Harbor Music Festival, previously known as the Blaine Jazz Festival, is a week of exciting ensemble classes and concerts in the border town of Blaine, Washington (35 miles south of Vancouver, Canada and 110 miles north of Seattle). The Pacific Arts Association, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting the arts in the community, organizes the festival with the support of donors, sponsors and volunteers.
