Detroit born Dan Gardiner is a Madison artist who enjoys creating collages from images he finds in old magazines and illustrated books. He also creates many of his own original digital images to place in his work. In 1987, Dan painted a deer on friend's garage door, and he has been a professional artist ever since. Over the years he has created numerous murals, sports art, and book illustrations. He also works with Autistic children in several Dane County school districts.

Evie Grasse of Sheboygan learned from a young age that she had the ability to create art in all media. She is primarily self-taught, however, twenty-five years ago she chose to Plein Air paint in watercolor with mentor Dr. James Michael, and she has never looked back. Traditional transparent watercolor works have become her passion due to the serenity it brings to her life and the pleasure it brings to others.
