Local Songwriter Chris Keesey Performs at Rhythm on the River, Pomeroy, OH  

 

 

Pomeroy, Ohio, June 29, 2015 - The 16th Annual Rhythm on the River Summer Music Series continues in Pomeroy Friday, July 10th at 8pm at the Riverside Amphitheater (101 Main Street) in historic, downtown Pomeroy, Ohio. The Rhythm on the River series runs consecutive Fridays, through July 17th, and culminates with the Big Bend Blues Bash on July 24th-25th. Admission is free.

 

Normally featuring nationally touring artists, this event's Rhythm on the River takes a local turn as singer / songwriter, Chris Keesey, from the nearby Appalachian Foothills rolls into town. He writes songs about growing up, growing old, living and loving in rural America. He draws songwriting influence from the greats of classic country and modern Americana to create songs and sounds based on the stories and raw truths of living in the country. KEESEY, the Band features Chris Keesey on vocals and John Borchard on pedal steel.
