Two North Puget Sound Chefs Decide Eight is Enough!

 

Each 8-for-8 Pop-up Dinner is a unique "culinary odyssey" consisting of eight courses and three wine pairings which aren't revealed until guests are seated. Dinners take place in the private dining room at Potluck Kitchen Studio, a community venue dedicated to offering cooking classes and other fun, food-related activities.

 

 

Anacortes, Washington (March 19, 2014) - Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive eight-course dining experience offered to eight guests at a time, only eight times this year at Potluck Kitchen Studio,  located in historic downtown Anacortes (910 11th Street Unit A). It's a big city menu, at a small town price, and without ferry travel or congested traffic.
 
Each 8-for-8 Pop-up Dinner is a unique "culinary odyssey" consisting of eight courses and three wine pairings which aren't revealed until guests are seated. Dinners take place in the private dining room at Potluck Kitchen Studio, a community venue dedicated to offering cooking classes and other fun, food-related activities. The Studio is owned and operated by Chef Jackie Davison.


The menu is designed and hand-crafted by Chef Andy Nguyen, who treats food as an art form. Cooking since age 6, Nguyen eventually attended culinary school in his home town where he graduated from Bellingham Technical College. Nguyen makes superb use of his classic French training and professional cooking background to create Northwest-inspired cuisine. He likes to “highlight sustainable, local artisan produce and specialty foods to create an amazing dining experience in an unexpected setting." Nguyen currently is the Sous Chef for the Chuckanut Manor in Bow, WA and maintains

This year’s event dates are March 26, April 30, May 22, June 30, July 21, August 4, September 25 and October 23. The cost of $150 per person, includes eight courses, three wine pairings, service charge, sales tax, and gratuity. Prepayment is required to reserve seats.
