California (September 3, 2013) - Don't miss the opportunity to share in a
weekend of handcrafted art and entertainment at the
Sacramento Arts Festival, Friday,
November 1 through Sunday, November 3, 2013. The 16th annual event returns
to the Sacramento Convention Center (14th and J Streets), to showcase the
best-ever in quality, variety and one-of-a-kind arts and crafts.
The festival features over 225 of America’s best contemporary craftspeople and
fine artists offering over 15,000 original works. Unlike other area fairs,
the Sacramento Arts Festival is strictly juried with exhibitors selected for
their originality and art quality. Attendees have the unique opportunity to
observe and interact with artists who will share their creative passion and
knowledge. Artists will also demonstrate their extraordinary talents on

takes place Friday, November 1: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m; Saturday, November 2:
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, November 3: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Sacramento Arts Festival has become the premier art and craft show in the
Central Valley and has developed into one of the top art festivals in the
country. Visitors will be captivated by the quality and diversity of each
exhibitor, allowing them to shop for one-of-a-kind items for themselves, their
homes or holiday and seasonal gifts.
Strolling through the festival, attendees will see a vast selection of
extraordinary art. Among the works of the 225 exhibitors, visitors will
see ceramics, clothing, decorative fiber works, furniture, glass, gourd art,
jewelry, leather, metal works, paper, stone, woodworks, drawings, oil and
acrylic paintings, watercolors, sculpture, photography and two and three
dimensional mixed media.
In addition to the exceptional visual art, the festival features continuous live
Main Stage entertainment including the Kurt Ribak Jazz Quartet, the GG Amos
Blues Band, Dirk K, jazz guitarist and Scott Meltzer & Katrine Spang-Hansen,
comedy jugglers. Attendees are also treated to Restaurant Row where they
can edibles from local restaurants representing different cultures from around
the world including Greek, Indian and American cuisine.
