Kansas City's 4th Annual Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair, August 3rd

The goal of The Swing is to create an indie craft event in Kansas City that becomes nationally known as a “place to be” for all lovers of handmade and recycled/upcycled items.  It supports small businesses and the handmade craft movement.  They also support saving our environment through the sale of recycled or ‘upcycled’ items.

Kansas City, Missouri, July 24, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - Founded in 2011, Strawberry Swing has become a Kansas City tradition. Full of creatives who are experts at their craft, this one-day indie craft fair is the Midwest’s celebration of the handmade movement.  Taking place in the barn and on the grounds of the historic Alexander Majors Home at 82nd and State Line, The 4th Annual Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair will have food trucks, a photo booth, live music, a kid's craft table and 65+ local vendors, selling a range of products (jewelry, clothes, 2D paper goods, 3D art, terrariums, dog treats, etc.).  The Swing will also be donating 10% of food truck sales, as well as 10% of all vendor fees, to Rosedale Ridge, a non-profit organization, striving to foster community and hope through after school programming.  Attending the event is free. The first 100 guests will receive a swag bag, including items donated by vendors & sponsors.
