Downtown Torrance, CA Antique Street Faire Sweet 16 Birthday Celebration, October 26th

 

The promoters of the show, Julie Randall and Miguel Salazar, were recently honored by the City of Torrance with the "Quality of Life" Award for the Torrance Antique Street Faire. The Faire was also recognized by the Daily Breeze Newspaper as a South Bay Favorite in their recent reader's poll. 

 

 

Torrance, California, October 8, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - Join the free celebration on October 26th when the Torrance Antique Street Faire celebrates sixteen years of bringing the best antique and collectible dealers to the streets of historic downtown Torrance, CA (1317 Sartori Ave.). Over 200 sellers will be there with antiques, collectibles, furniture, vintage clothes, jewelry, toys, tools, plants, home decor and more - all on sale at bargain prices. 
 
Special events include the 3rd Annual Halloween Pet Costume Contest and Parade at noon. The contest and parade is free to participate and prizes will be awarded for the best costume. The Contest is sponsored by A Shear Pleasure Pet Salon.  To register your pet call (310) 787-8827.
 
There will be refreshments, Smash Shack game booth, Trick R Treating for the kids, one free appraisal if you are in costume, free ring cleaning and Best Booth Contest, Halloween style. 
 
There is lots of music with DJ Ozzie as Master of Ceremonies and he will be spinning tunes in the park. Stacy Robin & Friends are performing in the Plaza and Whitney Steele in front of the coffee shop.
 
In addition to great shopping, you can spend the day and eat in one of the many award winning restaurants, bakery or sport's bars in Downtown Torrance.  
 
The Torrance Antique Street Faire is held on the 4th Sunday of every month since it began back in 1998. What started as a small local event has grown to the largest 4th Sunday antique market in Southern California. According to Frank Donadee, publisher of Collector Magazine, "Torrance has turned into a sprawling powerhouse with a reach far beyond the South Bay".
