United Methodist Church to Hold 40th Annual Old Campground Festival, New Lenox, IL

 

A day of arts, crafts, music and fun on the historic Old Campgrounds of UMCNL.

 

New Lenox, Illinois, June 9, 2015 - On June 27th the 40th Annual Old Campground Festival will feature a family friendly day of arts, crafts, music, fun and food on the wooded historic Old Campground located just off U.S. Route 30, one mile east of I-80 (Exit 137) in New Lenox, IL.  There will be art and craft booths, music on the stage by the historic log cabin, and food items are available also.  Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for all of the entertainment and to rest and relax in the wooded campgrounds. Admission and parking is free, handicap parking is available, and additional free parking will be available at the Lions Community Center on West Manor Drive with free shuttle service 9am to 3pm.  Rain date for this annual event is Sunday, June 28th from noon to 5pm.  For further information call 815-485-8271, Ext. 52 or visit http://umcnl.com/events/campground.
