Tampa Bay Area’s Signature Memorial Day Weekend Event, Oldsmar Freedom Fest, May 23-25

Oldsmar, Florida, May 8, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - For the sixth consecutive year the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce is doing its part by hosting Oldsmar Freedom Fest (www.oldsmarfreedomfest.com) on May 23, 24 and 25. The three day event will take place on State Street in Oldsmar, FL.

The event will feature live music from start to finish, plenty of food, arts and craft vendors and fun activities for the kids.  Hours will be 5 to 10 pm on Friday May 23, 12 to 10 pm on Saturday May 24 and concluding Sunday May 25 between the hours of 12 and 8pm  The big tent will be back to supplement the shade of the beautiful oaks and provide more seating to enjoy the great music.

State Street will be configured to allow the flow of the great American bikes to pass through.  On Saturday, the event will be recognizing our true American heroes – our police, firemen, first responders, active duty and retired military bikers and the grand category military tribute bikes.  This is always a very moving show and awards ceremony.  A special Military Memorial salute will be conducted to start the event on Sunday morning.

This is the Bay area’s signature Memorial Day event and admission is only $2.00 per person; 12 and under are free.
