More about the BoŽts and Voyage BoŽt

Philippe and Lisa BoŽt are both French nationals, fluent in French language and culture, and owners and operators of Chez BoŽt, a French bistro located in the historic downtown district of the resort town of Naples, Fla., since 2003 (
www.ChezBoetNaples.com.) During their Voyage BoŽt trips they close their restaurant to travel to France and serve as translators and guides for small groups. Upon request, the BoŽts will curate custom trips for groups of friends and family gatherings to fulfill the desire of their clients.

Philippe BoŽt was born and raised at his family's farms in France's Loire Valley, and Lisa BoŽt is an Illinois-native whose decade-long experience living in Paris, fluency in French, graduate studies at the Universitť de la Sorbonne, and a marketing and public relations career in the French film industry, including a position with the Cannes International Film Festival, gave her special entree to French culture and lifestyle. Both BoŽts also worked in historic Paris restaurants located on Parisí Left Bank in the heart of St. Germain des Pres. They met in a bistro in Paris in 1987 and married in the Renaissance period Ch‚teau de Vaulogť in Fercť-sur-Sartre in the Loire Valley in 1989.

As a couple, they spent long weekends traveling to Normandy, Brittany, Champagne, and the Loire Valley and enjoyed traditional home-cooked meals at their familyís farms. They developed a passion for fresh, local ingredients and meals prepared from generations-old family recipes of French home cooking. Upon returning to the States in 1994, they selected the Naples, Fla. historic area of Crayton Cove to open Chez Boet.

For several years, the BoŽts have shared their insider tips with France-bound customers, and escorted several culinary tours. After encouragement from customers, they launched Voyage Boet 2013. Since each trip is custom-designed, the tours are not replicated.
