90th Annual Whitley County 4-H Fair Planned for July 11-17, Columbia City, IN

 

 

Columbia City, Indiana, June 11, 2014 (McKenzieNewsService.com) - The Whitley County 4-H Fair will be held July 11th to 17th in Columbia City, Indiana, 680 W Squawbuck Rd. (just off US Highway 30), minutes from Fort Wayne, Huntington, and Warsaw. 

 

The 4-H Fair showcases the talents of the youth of the Whitley County community.  Check out the great exhibits, competitions, livestock, food, and grandstand entertainment.  The 4-H Fair highlights the heritage of the community, its ties to agriculture, industry, and businesses that are the back bone of the community.
 
The Whitley County 4-H Fair has always been a time and place for family and friends to meet and come together to support, and encourage young people.
Whether it be viewing the projects in the 4-H Center, or watching the livestock shows, the 4-H Fair is the culmination of the youth’s yearlong hard work.
 
The 4-H Fair also has much more for everyone to enjoy. It might be watching the mud and dirt fly and hearing the sounds of metal crunching at one of the grandstand events. The enticing smells, and tastes at one of the food stands is sure to please. Local vendors are represented in the commercial building, while the local Agricultural Museum and antique tractor display are a must see.
 
Admission to the 4-H Fair is free and there is no charge for parking.
